In addition to the basic wardrobe shown, you can create other apparel, hairstyles, shoes, accessories, and whatever else you can think of, perhaps cutting patterns from magazines and catalogs. Imagine styles favored by friends and family members, rock stars, or historical figures.

STANDING DOLL

Glue the top of a strip of heavy paper to the back of the doll, letting the lower end of the strip extend below the feet of the figure. Pull the strip away from the figure at an angle and fold back the extra length at the bottom for a firm stand.
